Works with the cameras you already have.
No proprietary sensors, no rental kit, no install crew. If it can produce a video feed — a venue IP camera, a GoPro, even a laptop — Campaign Vision can turn it into crowd analytics.
Six ways to get a feed in.
Venue IP cameras (RTSP)
Connect the cameras a venue already has. Guided setup includes presets for Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, Amcrest, and Axis — or paste any RTSP URL. Auto-discovery can find cameras on the local network for you.
GoPro
Provision a GoPro by scanning a QR code and it streams straight to Campaign Vision. The go-to option for temporary builds with no house cameras — mount it, scan, done.
Webcams & browsers
Plug in a USB webcam, or push frames directly from a laptop browser — the fastest possible setup for a booth or a quick pilot. No install at all.
Video upload (post-event)
Already ran the event? Upload recorded footage and get the same analytics after the fact, anchored to the real event timeline.
RTMP streams
Anything that can push an RTMP stream — encoders, streaming boxes, broadcast kit — can feed Campaign Vision alongside your other cameras.
On-site relay
For locked-down venue networks: a small relay runs on site and pushes frames outward, so the venue's camera credentials never leave the building.
Connected in three steps.
Point us at the feed
Pick your camera brand from a preset, paste a stream URL, scan a GoPro QR — or just open a browser. No proprietary hardware to order, ship, or install.
Test with a snapshot
One click pulls a test frame so you can confirm the view and framing before the doors open.
Draw zones and go live
Sketch your zones on the camera view — entrance, demo stations, sampling bar — and the dashboard starts measuring.
Cloud, relay, or fully on-site — your call.
Every mode ends the same way: frames are processed and discarded, and only numbers persist. What differs is where that processing physically happens.
Cloud processing
Frames stream over an encrypted connection to GPUs that process each frame in memory and discard it — no video is ever written to disk, anywhere. What's stored are the derived numbers: counts, dwell, zones.
On-site relay
A small relay runs inside the venue's network and pushes frames outward, so camera credentials and network access never leave the building. The venue stays in control; you still get live analytics.
Edge & on-premise
For deployments where footage must never leave the venue at all: inference runs on hardware on site, and only derived metrics go anywhere. Available by arrangement for security-sensitive activations — tell us what your review requires.
Not sure which mode your venue or client's security team will accept? Bring their requirements to a demo call — we'll map the deployment to what your review actually needs.
What makes a good camera view.
- Mounted above head height, looking across the space (typical venue camera placement)
- A steady frame — fixed mounts beat handheld
- Reasonable, consistent lighting
- 720p or better — standard for modern IP cameras, webcams, and GoPros
Most existing venue cameras already qualify. We review your camera views with you before the event, so there are no surprises on the day.
Camera questions
Do we need to buy or rent any cameras?
Usually not. Most venues already have IP cameras Campaign Vision can use, and a webcam or GoPro covers spaces that don't. There are no proprietary sensors to rent, ship, or install — that's the point.
The venue won't give us access to their cameras. Now what?
Two options: bring your own camera (a GoPro or webcam sets up in minutes), or use the on-site relay — it runs inside the venue's network and pushes frames out, so the venue's credentials and network stay under their control. Many venues say yes to that arrangement.
Can we measure an event that already happened?
Yes. Upload the recorded footage and Campaign Vision processes it post-event with the same analytics, anchored to the real event timeline — useful for events where live setup wasn't possible.
How many cameras do we need?
It depends on the footprint: a single camera covers a booth or pop-up; larger activations typically use one camera per key area (entrance, main floor, action zones). We'll help you plan coverage during onboarding.
What if our camera brand isn't listed?
The presets are conveniences, not limits. Any camera that speaks RTSP or RTMP works — which covers the overwhelming majority of IP cameras — and auto-discovery handles cameras that support the ONVIF standard.
Not sure your setup qualifies?
Book a demo and tell us what cameras the venue has — we'll confirm compatibility and sketch the coverage plan with you.
